The tragedy unprecedented.

Children’s bodies crushed
against the might of the slag
heap of tip number seven.
The slag that bore down.

Do I have the words to tell you,
it shouldn’t have happened.
Only that it did, taking with it
the lives of 116 children and 28 adults.
