Haiku poetry

Haiku poetry consists of 3 lines.
17 syllables – 5-7-5.

Sound of silence

Listen. Can you hear.
Strangely eerie; isn’t it.
The sound of silence.

Too late

Come close; hear my words.
We should have acted sooner.
Now, it’s just too late.

Stop!

Stop the misery.
Stop the pain. The suffering.
Surrender or die.

Tell what you did

Be sure you do it.
Be sure to tell what you did.
Leave no stone unturned.

Wish for something better

In the dark recess.
Be careful what you wish for.
It just might happen.

Women stand alone

Women stand alone.
Men beaten by the horror.
Lives lost; forever.

Don’t leave me

Please; don’t leave me here.
To the ravages of time.
Please; take me with you.

The pandemic

The terror it came
Out of the blue. No warning.
Took the old; the young.

The photograph

Just a photograph.
You can’t hurt me now. Can you?
You shattered my heart.

About Me

Where do I begin?

I never stand still. I’m always looking for the next adventure; the next opportunity, and undeniably they come my way. I never give up; well not easily, and I strive to make the world a better place. Occasionally, I bring others along for the ride.

Why not join me?

A bit more about me
