In wartime

In wartime, the men fight;
The women too.
And sometimes the children.

In wartime, the women cry;
As do the men.
And always the children.

In wartime the women go hungry.
The men too.
Children suffer the most.

In wartime men yearn for a better world.
As do the women.
And the children…

They hug their mothers.
Cry for their fathers.
Fear for their own lives and those of others.

And as they age;
the hate builds.
They wait in the wings.

Their time will come.
For through silent witness, they
have become the next generation…
of potential fighters.

About Me

Where do I begin?

I never stand still. I’m always looking for the next adventure; the next opportunity, and undeniably they come my way. I never give up; well not easily, and I strive to make the world a better place. Occasionally, I bring others along for the ride.

Why not join me?
