Gregarious greens.

We have lived in harmony
with nature for centuries.
Not anymore.
Rivers flood. Seas rage.

Angels give a stark warning,
as the carnage unfolds.
As humankind suffers.
We are the cause of the problem.

We crush the life out of nature.
We crush the petals.
Replace natural habitat
with concrete. With clay. With bricks.

Sleep tight, for whatever
tomorrow might bring,
your children will inherit.
