My nursing blogs
‘In the last decade, blogging has turned the publishing world on its head. A blog allows you to write and publish anything, from anywhere, and have it be immediately available to billions of people all around the world.’ Andrew Sullivan
Wow! A scary thought.
Blogs have become a useful and acceptable way to write for academic circles.
Blogs a truncation of web and log = blog have become a worldwide phenomenon and eventually I got involved. I love blogging. It helps keep my knowledge up-to-date and can on occasion reduce the frustration I often feel about the delivery of healthcare today.
They take me about 6 hours to write. So, a day’s work, but it just feels like fun to me.
I have written many blogs that illuminate and promote the varied and responsible role of the registered nurse, positive health and wellbeing and also shine a light on the many awareness days that occur throughout the year.
Published in the last 6 years you might find these of interest, as I share with you much of my writing journey.
I am currently working on one at the minute. It’s about mesothelioma. I hope to get this published in the next few months. So, you might want to watch this space!
