The earth is dying

The earth is drowning.
Rain threatens our land.
Our homes.
Our lives.

The earth is cracking.
Great fissures appear.
Men, women and children
swallowed whole.

The earth is growing weak.
Nature sweeps away the forests.
So too humankind, with
their destructive machines.

The earth is ageing.
Her light is dwindling.
Put out slowly by man.
She weeps silent tears.

The earth is weary.
Succumbing to the blazoning heat.
The wild fires, that threaten to
destroy her very existence.

She tries, with all she has
to stop the carnage.
To stop the mutilation.
But she is dying. All hope gone.

About Me

Where do I begin?

I never stand still. I’m always looking for the next adventure; the next opportunity, and undeniably they come my way. I never give up; well not easily, and I strive to make the world a better place. Occasionally, I bring others along for the ride.

Why not join me?
