The forgotten realm

The Copse. Whilst there are many stories told of the Copse and biodiversity, this frequently man-made image is one of the saddest things I have ever seen in nature.
No woodland creature can live for long under these resplendent trees. Life for them cannot exist. They have to forage for food. There is none. For no vegetation exists. Magnificent trees have little space in which to stretch out their bountiful,  blossoming branches. Have no space to expand their expansive roots. Still, others may think differently. I hope I’m wrong.
