Ripe conkers with
their sleek mahogany coat.
Dead leaves falling and
dark chilly mornings,
warn us winter is coming.
Spiders webs glisten in the
morning sun.
Flowers descend into hibernation.
Prolonged sleep.
Gives back to the land.
Restores the balance.
