Go for a walk.
Taste nature, in all its glory.
Wear high heels once in a while.
Wear makeup.
Have your hair done.
And your nails.
Buy something beautiful.
Believe in yourself.
Imposter syndrome…what imposter syndrome?
Don’t endlessly scroll the internet.
Looking for something you don’t need.
You have everything you need.
Write a letter to your former self
Tell her your aspirations.
Have you achieved them?
If not, what stopped you?
Play loud music.
Sing.
Or in my case.
Maybe not.
Read a book.
Seriously, go on, read a book
Appreciate literature.
The written word.
Appreciate what you have.
Appreciate life.
Step off the train or the bus,
And breathe.
Step back on again.
Take the slow route.
Tell someone you love them.
Plan your future.
And do it now.
Don’t be too hard on yourself.
Work hard.
Bring the kids along for the ride.
Send a thank you card.
Just because…
Dream big.
And go for it.
Look in the mirror.
Tell me what you see.
A beautiful woman.
That’s for sure.
Wrinkles and all.
Life etched on the face of time.
Apply for that job
Try something new.
Do something different.
Join a good cause.
Volunteer.
