How I wish I was like these women.
How I wish I was as courageous.
How I wish I could make a difference.

The Suffragettes and Suffragists?
The Cradley Heath Chainmakers?

Vivian Bullwinkle?
Sojourner Truth?
Rosa Parks?
Olympe de Gouges?

These are women who made
a profound difference.
And yet; the rights of women,
continue to go unnoticed. Unrecognised.

These are old names, with old stories.
Women who sought to change the world.
Women who have progressed society.
Now; let’s seek out new super-heroines,
with new stories.

Let’s seek out more women who change the world.
Challenge patriarchy.
Let’s seek out women who stand united.
Who are willing to be the change.

Amazing women who yearn to make a difference.
Who yearn to improve the lives of women & girls.
And by their actions make the world a better place.
